After Rob Dibble made these comments (on his XM Radio show) about Washington Nationals rookie phenom Stephen Strasburg—”Okay, you throw a pitch, it bothers your arm, and you immediately call out the manager and the trainer? Suck it up, kid”—it was conveniently announced that he was on vacation. Most in the D.C.

Left-hander Scott Olsen gave up nine runs to the Marlins in 1 2/3 innings on Wednesday night and things didn't get much better for the Nationals from there, counting a brawl in the sixth inning.

Rob Dibble’s duties with the Washington Nationals television crew are over. The team announced Wednesday that Dibble was removed from his job as analyst on its TV play-by-play crew, the Washington Post reports.

MIAMI | Nyjer Morgan of the Washington Nationals has charged the mound after a pitch from Florida’s Chris Volstad sailed behind him, setting off a wild brawl between the teams. Morgan took a big swing that appeared to graze Volstad’s face in the fifth inning Wednesday night.
